Joe Danger Animation

In my 2D animation class I was given the task to create an original character. I thought back to pervious things I have drawn for fun, and I remembered about a character that I made up who had a jetpack. I thought him up back in 2020, so I couldn’t remember what I called him, so I named him Joe Danger. We had to create a background for our characters, so I created a city. My art style is inspired by Phineas and Ferb, and the Simpsons. So, I used images from those shows as reference. I also looked at a Ninja Turtles arcade game for reference of a city. We also had to create a story for our characters. My story for Joe Danger is that he is a spy who use to be a cop, and this takes place in 2025, but he acts like he is from the 1950’s. My original animation I spent 6 hours on it, and I rushed it. Come summer break I redid the animation. I took my time, and I spent 11 hours on the redo version. I think it turned out really well. I really enjoyed making this 2D animation. I made the animation in Adobe Animate, and this scene is frame by frame.
